MULTIPLYING ANY TWO DIGITS NUMBER WHOSE DIFFERENCE IS 3.
Rule: Square one more than the smaller number and add one less than the smaller number to the result. Example: Multiply 34 by 37. One more than the smaller number, 34, is 35. Square 35. 35 x 35 = 1,225 Add one less than 34 to the result. 1,225 + 33 = 1,258 Therefore 34 × 37 = 1,258 Answer. Example: Multiply 64 by 67. One more than the smaller number, 64, is 65. Square 65. 65 × 65 = 4,225 Add one less than 64 to the result. 4,225 + 63 = 4,288 Therefore 64 × 67 = 4,288 Answer.
